The 'OK' Health Check
'The 'OK' Health Check,
is without doubt the best known and most widely used systematic health
assessment system in the UK. It is now in its 3rd Edition and available in
computerised form to enable a very comprehensive system for Health Facilitation and Health Action Planning. First published in 1997 it quickly became established as an easy to use, comprehensive system developed especially for the particular needs of People with Learning Disability, and reflecting the changes in community based care. The 'OK' Health Check has continued to develop and take advantage of available computer systems, and is now available in two PC based packages. As from 1st March 2011 the hard copy manual version will no longer be available, although blank forms may still be ordered for those consumers who have not purchased one of the PC systems. |
