The 'OK' Health Check Computer
Based System Health Action Plans and Health Care Records For the 'Stand Alone' PC or intranet computer network If you are already
a user of the ‘OK’ Health Check, you are aware
of how invaluable it is in helping your service to meet the health needs of
people Fairfield Publications is
pleased to announce the launch of a new version of the system, which operates on
your PC, allowing you to store all the completed OK Health Checks as PC files.
In addition, it provides the means for developing individual Health Action
Plans, and storing these on the PC. This means that you can make very simple checks to find out when an assessment is due, and update the information easily. The Health Action Plans allow each identified health need to be developed as a plan of action, with review dates and outcomes, making the complete Nursing Process system available on the PC. When a Case Review is due, it is a simple matter to print off copies of the Assessment or Health Action Plans for each participant. The advantages for your service
· Convenience - you have central control of all service users’ health assessments and health records, at your fingertips, in an easy to use system. · Efficiency – an integrated comprehensive system that you are familiar with, you know it works. Now complete with Health Assessment, Health Action Plans and Health Care Records. The ‘OK’ Health Check – PC System
How it
works The CD runs on your PC, all it needs is a CD Drive and a printer. It requires the PC to have a web browser (Internet Explorer), Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel. The CD runs by itself, automatically, you choose what you want to do by clicking the mouse on options. This allows you to bring all the OK Health Check system documents up onto the screen, where you can enter information, save the files and print them out. It really is as simple as that. 1. Print out a blank OK Health Assessment or Health Action Plan document for the key worker to complete. 2. Type the information onto a PC form on screen 3. Save it in a folder using the client’s name as a filename 4. Whenever you want to update, click it open, amend the record and click ‘save’ You never run out of OK Health Check forms, and your records are always up to date and available at the click of a mouse! Conditions The OK Health Check CD Rom may only be used on one computer or intranet system. If more than one computer is used for managing the files and data from the OK Health Check CD Rom, then a CD Rom must be purchased for each computer. (For intranet systems see below). The files on the CD Rom are protected by copyright and must not be copied onto the hard drive of a computer or any other storage medium. The blank files on the CD Rom must not be altered, adapted or changed in any way. The completed forms may be stored on the PC which uses the CD. Records kept on the computer containing ‘OK’ health assessment or care planning data may be photocopied and distributed to interested parties providing or having a legitimate interest in that individual’s care or attending a case conference or other meeting. Buying the 'OK' Health Check PC System The package consists of a copy of the 'OK' Health Check Initial Users' Pack and a copy of the System CD Rom. The CD contains all the files and instructions for use, as well as a tutorial for assessors. This means you are quite literally, 'ready to go' as soon as you receive it. The complete pack costs £250, post free (UK and EU). How many CD packs do you need? You need one pack for each PC using the 'OK' Health Check PC System, it must not be used on more than one PC, nor may it be copied. For example, a Core and Cluster style housing service, with a single administrative base where all the 'OK' Health records will be managed on a single PC needs only one copy. Alternatively, a large PCT with a Residential Service and a Community Team, each managing their own Health Records on different PCs, perhaps at two different places will need two copies of the CD Rom pack. Organisations with Intranet systems For those organisations with intranet network systems serving a number of community homes and admin bases for a number of community teams we are happy to quote for a special arrangement allowing you to operate under a software licence with shared access across your intranet network. Please telephone for a quote on 07867 - 594135. This is the economical solution for large organisations.
