The 'OK' Health Check
PC Based System

As a user of the ‘OK’ Health Check, you are aware of how invaluable it is in helping your service to meet the health needs of people with learning disabilities. Fairfield Publications is pleased to announce the launch of a new version of the system, which operates on your PC, allowing you to store all the completed OK Health Checks as PC files. In addition, it provides the means for developing individual Health Action Plans, and storing these on the PC.
This means that you can make very simple checks to find out when an assessment is due, and update the information easily. The Health Action Plans allow each identified health need to be developed as a plan of action, with review dates and outcomes, making the complete Nursing Process system available on the PC.
When a Case Review is due, it is a simple matter to print off copies of the Assessment or Health Action Plans for each participant.
The advantages of the PC version for your service

The CD runs on your PC, all it needs is a CD Drive and a printer. It requires the PC to have a web browser (Internet Explorer), Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
The CD runs by itself, automatically, you choose what you want to do by clicking the mouse on options. This allows you to bring all the OK Health Check system documents up onto the screen, where you can enter information, save the files and print them out.
If you have the PC skills to open a file, enter details and save the file to your hard drive then you have all the skills you need to use this CD.
You never run out of OK Health Check forms, and your records are always up to date and available at the click of a mouse!
Conditions of Use (Single PC CD Rom)
The OK Health Check CD Rom may only be used on one computer. If more than one computer is used for managing the files and data from the OK Health Check CD Rom, then a CD Rom must be purchased for each computer.
The files on the CD Rom are protected by copyright and must not be copied onto the hard drive of a computer or any other storage medium.
The blank files on the CD Rom must not be altered, adapted or changed in any way. The completed forms may be stored on the PC which uses the CD.
Records kept on the computer containing ‘OK’ health assessment or care planning data may be photocopied and distributed to interested parties providing or having a legitimate interest in that individual’s care or attending a case conference or other meeting.
Intranet Network Systems
Fairfield Publications is very happy to provide a CD Rom based 'OK' Health Check system to NHS and other organisations which have a network or computer intranet shared across their services. This is a very efficient and logical way of creating an integrated system and is being selected by a large number of customers. Please telephone to discuss your requirements and to receive a quote of the costing, to 07867 - 594135.
